This course was catered for any individual wanting to experience the ‘Behind the scenes’ of what makes an athlete. Focusing on the 5 pillars of athleticism:
Participants will improve their neuromuscular control and overall performance for any activity on or off the field.
Every athlete must have a foundation of strength that will allow room for growth in and out of the weight-room. Grass Roots is a 60 minute introductory lifting course that will teach participants the ins and outs as well as the different variations of the big 4 lifts:
Learn to punch with bad intentions. This course will help improve hand speed, power and accuracy by providing you drills that will have you connecting your body behind your punch. We have created exercises that will combine your upper body movement with your core to be able to deliver a stinging blow.
Punch power comes from the ground up. Footwork is key. The true essence of the sport is what your feet can do. This class provides participants the need-to-know of how to move around in the ring. As well as the strength and conditioning needed to last multiple rounds with an opponent. You may even get a bit of a glute pump in the process.
Are you looking to step up your game? At Unchained Athletics we have prepared fighters for various events around Toronto, including Battle of the Suits, Agency Wars , Bartender Boxing and the Ontario Bronze gloves tournament.This program is run by head coach Eddy and striking coach Juan. Together they will both prepare you physically and mentally for your first time in the ring. This program is for boxers who are just beginning or seasoned vets that want to maintain their physique.
Join us in the ring! This course is meant for the “in betweeners” who want to learn how to maneuver around in the squared circle. You will be paired up with fellow participants or coaches and put through different fight time scenarios that will require upper/ lower body speed as well as mental quickness! Intensity is varied to participants comfort level. * MOUTHGUARD REQUIRED*
